We met in June 2022 at the H‑E‑B warehouse where our paths crossed while hauling pallets from location to location—hardly a rom-com start, but it felt like fate. Anabel remembers thinking Amado had the kindest laugh and always thought he had the corniest jokes. We shared a quick joke, swapped numbers, and somehow ended up on a first date that included a very enthusiastic (and slightly embarrassed) kiss—apparently we do big gestures early. Since then we’ve built our relationship around curiosity and adventure. We love traveling from place to place—weekend road trips, spontaneous flights, or even going to antique shops—always finding small moments that turn into our favorite memories. We celebrate the ordinary as much as the extraordinary: cooking together, cheering each other on -whether it’s video games or guitar performances, and planning trips we haven’t taken yet.
